2 Methods – Staking or Sandbags
Staking Can be Used With Grass or Sand Set Ups
Tools Needed:
- (1) approximately 7" metal spike per tank stand
- Approximately 3 feet of black parachute cord
- Hammer
- Tie a small loop at one end of the parachute cord (approximately 1”).
- Then loop the black cord around the pole by inserting one end of the cord through the loop.
- Angle the cord on the opposite side of the tank from the direction that the lights are pulling.
- Stretch the black cord down to the grass, keeping the cord snug and tie another loop where the cord meets the grass.
- Insert the stake in the loop and secure the cord to the ground
Sandbags Can Be Used With Any Set Ups Locations
Tools Needed:
- Black Sandbags
- Sand
- Fill the black sandbags with sand approximately half full so that the sandbag can still lay semi-flat and blend in with the tank or fit under the tank slipcover if you’re using the covers.
- Position the sandbags on the opposite side of the tank from the direction that the lights are pulling. Add multiple sandbags if needed.
